Beacon Journal staff report
Two Akron men face charges after police found them inside Goodrich Middle School about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Apparently they wanted to brush up on their announcing skills.
According to a report from the department, a caller notified Akron police that she saw two people removing a metal grate on a window at Goodrich, 700 Lafollette St., and climb through the window.
When officers arrived, they could hear the men inside the building, talking on the public address system.
Officers entered the building and arrested Christian M. Hettick, 19, of Cole Avenue, and Jeffrey B. Wilder, 19, of Lovers Lane.
Each was charged with breaking and entering and was booked into the Summit County Jail.
