Police searching for missing Stark County girl, 14

JACKSON TWP.: Police are searching for a 14-year-old girl that has been reported missing since early Wednesday morning.

Emma Elizabeth Newland was last seen at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jackson Township detectives said Thursday.

Police described Newland as a white female with brown hair and blue eyes. She is 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She was possibly wearing grey sweat pants, a peach-colored top and flip flops when she went missing.

There has been one confirmed sighting of the girl since her disappearance at the intersection of Mills and Main streets in Dalton in Wayne County.
