The unidentified victim of the hit-skip incident that occurred at 6:07 p.m. Wednesday on the city’s north side was taken to an area hospital for treatment, according to a news release from the police detective bureau.

Police did not provide any information on the condition of the victim or whether the person remained in the hospital Thursday.

The driver was in a truck described as a black Chevrolet Silverado with an extended cab. The truck could have sustained front driver’s-side damage.
