RAVENNA: A Ravenna woman has been arrested on charges she made methamphetamine in the vicinity of her 8 year-old son.
Krimson A. Cadle, 27, of state Route 59, was jailed Wednesday on charges of illegal manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, endangering children and violating a temporary protection order, the Portage County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Thursday.
Members of the Portage County Drug Task Force arrested Cadle after receiving information from Portage County Job and Family Services of a possible meth laboratory in Orchard Estates mobile home park, the sheriff’s office said.
A 23-year-old man described as Cadle’s boyfriend, who had a protection order filed against her, also was at the residence. He was not arrested.
Cadle had been ordered by the court not to be in the vicinity of the man.
A disposal team was called to the scene to remove toxic chemicals.
The sheriff’s office said the boy was released to his father.
