PLAIN TWP.: Stark County sheriff’s deputies are investigating two armed robberies of two businesses in the same building in three days.
Chief Deputy Rick Perez said three masked gunmen hit the Dunkin’ Donuts and Circle K convenience store at about 1:42 a.m. Tuesday. And shortly before 4 a.m. Thursday, a lone masked gunman, who authorities believe may have been part of the first holdup, struck again.
Deputies assigned to Plain Township reached the businesses within two minutes of the calls, but missed the culprits, Perez said.
One customer was kicked in the head during the Tuesday incident had to be taken the hospital.
