Recorded detective interviews with a Stow teenager charged with aggravated murder and other crimes in the Craigslist killings were heard in a Summit County courtroom Thursday for the first time since his arrest last November.

Brogan Rafferty, who was 16 at the time of the interviews, told a sheriff’s detective that two holes were dug on Noble County land at the urging of alleged accomplice Richard Beasley — one for a Virginia man who was shot to death on Oct. 23, another for a South Carolina man who escaped with a gunshot wound to the elbow.

Stories labeled "Beacon First" are published in the newspaper before appearing in full on Ohio.com.
