Courteous and safe drivers spotted by Summit County Sheriff’s deputies could be in line for a “Golden Ticket.”
The new program, sponsored by Sheriff Drew Alexander and local businesses, seeks to reward courteous drivers and those who display safe driving habits. The program officially begins Monday.
Drivers “caught” practicing safe habits or displaying courteous behavior may be awarded a Golden Ticket containing coupons redeemable at many local businesses in the area. In addition, individuals who receive a Golden Ticket also have a chance to win free merchandise.
