An Akron man accused of firing shots into a Romig Road night club and killing a music producer has been arrested.
Dontay Taylor, 22, was arrested Friday in DeKalb County, Ga., east of Atlanta. Police expect Taylor to be extradited to Akron to face aggravated murder charges.
He is accused in the July 23 shooting death of Rahsaan Price, 38, of Akron.
Price was shot while seated inside the Embassy Lounge, 2200 Romig Road.
Police say Taylor had been asked to leave the club but returned minutes later and fired several shots through the club’s window. A man and woman also were injured in the shooting.
Price, a Firestone High School grad, was a music video producer and director. He owned Just Us Multimedia and Price Productions and was working on a project while seated inside the club at the time of the shooting.
