Akron police are investigating two shooting incidents that occurred in the city late Monday and early Tuesday.
The first shooting occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Roslyn and Bellevue avenues.
The victim, a 26-year-old Roslyn Avenue man, met responding officers at their cruiser with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Akron General Medical Center, where his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
He told officers he was shot following an argument over a woman.
In the second incident, a 26-year-old Youngstown man drove himself to Akron General Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his foot.
He told police that he was shot about 4 a.m. Tuesday while someone was attempting to rob him in the front yard of a house in Akron. He was unaware of the exact location, police said.
