Wadsworth police are asking residents to be on the watch after a spate of burglaries and break-ins over the past several days.

Police say the culprits have struck homes and businesses near Valley View Elementary, just west of state Route 94 and West Good Avenue.

“These crimes are being aggressively investigated by the Wadsworth Police Department, but we’d ask for the public’s help to assist us in safeguarding their homes and our city,” Lt. Robert Wyrick said. “We rely on the public to be our eyes and ears in any suspicious situations.”

Police are asking residents to call 911 if they notice any suspicious people or vehicles. Anonymous information may be left at 330-335-2769 or via email at wadsworthpd@gmail.com.
