Wind advisory in effect overnight

Beacon Journal staff report

The National Weather Service has issues a wind advisory for Northeast Ohio from 10 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday.

Included in the advisory are Summit, Medina, Portage, Stark and Wayne counties.

Strong winds of 20 mph to 30 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph to 50 mph, are expected to accompany a storm system moving into the area Thursday.

Minor property damages is possible and loose objects might blow around in the wind.
