CANTON TWP.: An 18 year-old Stark County woman died Tuesday from injuries suffered in a traffic accident.
Amber Hall of Magnolia Township was taken to Aultman Hospital with serious injuries after the crash at 4:10 p.m. Monday on southbound state Route 800 in Canton Township.
The State Highway Patrol said Hall lost control of her blue, 1995 Chevrolet Lumina and slid across the center line into the path of a tan, 2002 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Melissa Haney, 45, of East Sparta.
Hall’s car was struck on the passenger side and pushed off the west side of the roadway, officers said.
She was transferred to Akron General Medical Center, where she died from her injuries at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
The Highway Patrol and the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the accident.
