MIAMISBURG, OHIO: Authorities are trying to determine whether the death of a woman found near railroad tracks in Southwest Ohio was accidental or intentional.
A train crew for a rail transportation company reported the body Sunday afternoon in Miamisburg, southwest of Dayton. Police say the woman might have been hit by a different train. They say it’s not clear if the death was an accident, a crime or a suicide.
Miamisburg police did not identify the woman but said she had auburn hair and appeared to be younger than 40. They said local authorities had no reports of a missing person matching the woman’s description.
Police said they hope video from trains that have used the track recently could offer clues to what happened.
