Akron police arrested a Fairlawn man and two Fairlawn teenagers Sunday night after a 20-year-old man said two of the suspects robbed him at gun point.
Police charged Andrew D. Moss, 18, of Smith Road on complicity to commit aggravated robbery and booked him into the Summit County Jail. The two juveniles, both 16, were charged with aggravated robbery and possession of criminal tools. They were booked into Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.
According to police, the victim said two of the males approached him about 9:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Sumner Street and asked to borrow a lighter. As he handed the lighter over, both suspects pulled out handguns and demanded his money and jewelry, police said the victim reported. The suspects fled to an waiting vehicle and were driven away by a third suspect, police said.
Police said a vehicle fitting a description given by the victim was stopped at the intersection of Grant and East Exchange streets and the three occupants were arrested. Officers said they found two .380 handguns and the property belonging to the victim.
