McDonald's on Romig Road in Akron robbed

At about 8 p.m. Tuesday night two masked men robbed a Romig Road fast-food restaurant at gun point.

Two males wearing ski masks and armed with handguns entered the McDonalds at 2363 Romig Road and ordered all the employees into the rear of the restaurant, according to Akron police.

The robbers forced the store's manager to open the safe and then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robbers were described as two black males around 18 years old. Both men were just under 6 feet tall and weighed between 160 to 200 pounds.

One suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, brown boots, and white gloves.

The second robber was wearing black hooded sweatshirt with silver lettering and white gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 330-375-2490.
