Browns lose Thompson to Texans

By Beacon Journal staff report

Several Web sites have indiciated today that Browns free-agent linebacker Chaun Thompson has agreed to a two-year contract with the Houston Texans. The contract reportedly includes a $650,000 signing bonus and will be worth $2.4 million overall.

The Browns have talked to free agent Kalimba Edwards and Al Wilson. Rosevelt Colvin, formerly of the New England Patriots, could be an option, too.
