An Alliance woman already facing drug trafficking charges now has an additional charge of witness intimidation.
Lillian Sholes, 39, of South Arch Avenue, was arrested Wednesday by the Alliance Police Department's Special Investigations Unit for allegedly assaulting a witness in an investigation that led to the arrest of Sholes and her husband on drug trafficking charges.
As a result of the new charges, Sholes now faces an additional sentence of up to five years in prison.
Sholes is scheduled to be arraigned today in Alliance Municipal Court.
