A Reminderville man was sentenced in Summit County Common Pleas Court today to 10 years in prison for a series of sex offenses involving a minor.
Stephen M. Majercik, 59, of Spinnaker Run was also labeled a Tier III sex offender after pleading guilty March 14 to six counts of illegal use of a minor in nude material, three counts of pandering sexual material involving a minor, sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Police found images of children in various stages of nudity on a computer at Majercik's residence after he was indicted for sexual battery involving a 14-year-old girl. Some of the images depicted children in sexual acts.
