A minor fire in a chemistry lab prompted school officials to evacuate Hudson High School shortly before noon today.
Students returned to their classrooms about 12:15 p.m., Hudson Fire Chief Bob Carter said.
Firefighters received a call about the fire at 11:55 a.m. A chemistry teacher extinguished the fire before 11:59 a.m., when firefighters arrived at the school, Carter said.
Carter said the fire began in a storage cabinet under a fume hood and there was no explosion or flash fire.
One student sought medical treatment after going home, Carter said.
No other information was immediately available.
