High school football season is set to begin with a bang this season. Thirty teams from across the nation will compete in two states as part of the fourth annual Kirk Herbstreit Varsity Football Series Presented by Burger King.
Pro Football Hall of Fame Field at Fawcett Stadium in Canton will host four games Aug. 30, including Canton McKinley against Indianapolis Cathedral at 2 p.m. and Massillon against Jordan High of Utah at 8 p.m. Youngstown Cardinal Mooney and Warren Howland also will play in games at Fawcett Stadium.
Other games will be at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati and Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas. Schools from 11 states will be competing.
Tickets are available at $14 for adults ($16 at the gate) and $10 for students ($12 at the gate). All tickets are for three four-game sessions at the venue. Tickets are available at the local participating schools as well as Ticketmaster.com or Ticketweb.com.
