Akron police have arrested a homeowner and two women on prostitution-related charges in connection with an investigation involving a Manchester Road residence.
Police charged Ray Gray Sr., 52, the owner of the Manchester Road home, with promoting prostitution; Patrisha Davis, 22, who lives at the house, with solicitation; and Brandy McCabe, 34, of Hametown Road in Norton, with soliciting and procuring prostitution.
Akron police spokesman Lt. Rick Edwards said today that McCabe gave a undercover detective information on how the officer could meet McCabe and Davis.
When undercover detectives arrived at the Manchester Road home Tuesday afternoon, the women allegedly offered a vice detective ''any sexual activity desired'' for $230, according to a police report.
Police said an undercover detective made contact with McCabe and Davis as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged prostitution in the Kenmore area of Akron. Police said they have received complaints from residents.
