A teenager was shot Tuesday night while walking on the south side of Akron, police said.
The 18-year-old victim told police he was on Clark Street at about 11:30 p.m. when he passed a large fight in front of a house in the 1000 block.
The teenager said he heard several popping sounds, felt pain in his buttocks and realized he'd been shot.
The victim was transported to a local hospital.
His injuries do not appear to be life threatening, police said.
Police have no description of the assailant.
