Two 23rd Street Northwest residents accused of keeping information from Barbertonpolice about a fire that gutted a Liberty Street home await an appearance in Barberton Municipal Court.
Dustin Riffle, 25, and Randall R. Gibson, 20, are charged with one count each of failure to report a crime, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
Wayne Anderson, 33, of 23rd Street Northwest, is under indictment by the Summit County grand jury for arson.
Police said Riffle and Gibson were with Anderson on June 9 when he allegedly put a pillow into a kitchen cabinet of a vacant home at 1076 Liberty Street then set it on fire.
Gibson and Riffle reportedly stood in the yard of Anderson's home and watched as Barberton firefighters extinguished the fire.
Riffle is scheduled to appear for arraignment today. Gibson is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
