The Cleveland Cavaliers are scheduled to play 34 times on national television during the 2008-09 season — the league maximum and a franchise record for appearances.
Highlights of the schedule, released today, include 10 games on ESPN, 10 games on TNT and five games on ABC.
The Cavaliers begin the season away from Quicken Loans Arena — a first in five seasons — with an Oct. 28 nationally televised game against the NBA champion Boston Celtics at TD Banknorth Garden.
The Cavs then will play the Charlotte Bobcats at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 in their home opener at Quicken Loans Arena.
