Medina County man dies in single-car crash

By Beacon Journal staff

A Medina County man died Tuesday in a single-car accident in York Township.

John K. Ramser, 57, of York Township was traveling south on Abbeyville Road about 2 p.m. when his 2005 Ford Escape SUV drove off the left side of the road and struck a tree, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Ramser was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said. Alcohol was not a factor.
