Authorities arrested 19 people and seized marijuana and crack cocaine during a gun-violence reduction sweep Monday in Akron.
The sweep targeted areas were in southeast and southwest Akron.
Officers from the Akron Police Department, U.S. Marshal's Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives participated.
