A three person panel of the Ohio Elections Commission has found probable cause that campaign materials supporting a candidate for the Summit County Engineer's Office contained false statements.
A hearing before the entire commission is scheduled for Monday, Ohio Elections Commission Executive Director Phillip Richter said today.
The commission agreed with a complaint filed by Mike Sith, a county engineer's office employee, that Alan Brubaker — a Democrat running against County Engineer Greg Bachman — made false statements regarding hiring practices, primarily on a Web site.

Oh who cares. Brubaker is a bumbling idiot who is for hiring more people while the county is going to be doing massive employee reductions. Bachman is clearly the best choice.
