The Interstate 71 southbound ramp to U.S. 224 westbound in Medina County will remain closed through Dec. 3.
The detour route for I-71 southbound motorists continues to be I-71 south to I-76 east to state Route 3 north to I-76 west, which becomes U.S. 224 west.
Construction work on the ramp is part of the $70.4 million I-71/I-76 reconstruction in Westfield Township. The contract is held by the Ruhlin Co. The project is scheduled to be completed in July 2010.
All work is weather dependent, the Ohio Department of Transportation said.
