Donations for a Veteran's Outreach program were stolen Saturday from a man who was collecting for the cause outside a South Arlington Street store in Akron.
The 59-year-old man told authorities he was approached by two men who grabbed the money jar off the table. The men fled in a silver Buick Park Avenue with a little more than $100 in donations.
Akron police are looking for two black males 16 to 18 years old. They were between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighed about 120 pounds. One suspect was wearing a black, brown, and orange coat, and the other suspect was wearing gray pants and a black jacket.
