Akron is once again basking in the spotlight thanks to Cavaliers star LeBron James after a Nike commercial that aired Monday night during the Cavs' win over the Atlanta Hawks mentioned his hometown.
In the commercial, a puppet characterizing James taunts a Kobe Bryant puppet as he tosses his trademark clouds of chalk in the air.
''Woo, Chosen One, baby. Ohio... Akron, Ohio baby. Come on Kobe, let's go down the highway,'' the James puppet teases.

this is the best commercial!!! It's hilarious and I LOVED hearing Akron, Ohio mentioned. Woo! LeBron has a great sense of humor and it shows with this commercial. I hope they make more of them. Go CAVS!!!!!

I was just about to post the same thing.
It just amazes me how readers will submit a post that complains about the story being old, not newsworthy or they don't know why people are commenting on it and then you realize that their post is about 3 or 4 screens down which mean they are still on top of the boring story.

People like skeebo43 are why all the posts disappear-they're always jumping to conclusions about what someone meant by their comment and then attacking them.
I don't recall saying that I hated LeBron or hated the Cavs or hated the commercial- just saying how funny it looked when you missed most of the beginning.
