The closure of state Route 44 between Mapleton Street and Hill Church Street in Osnaburg Township set for Monday has been postponed until Wednesday.
The closure, to allow workers to replace a culvert, will remain until the end of June.
The detour will be state Route 43 to U.S. Route 30 to state Route 172.
This work is the beginning of a $200,000 project to replace the existing bridge on state Route 44 over a branch of the Little Sandy Creek with a box culvert. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late July.
