CANTON: Police say the man held on charges that he killed his two children and their grandmother calmly confessed shortly after his arrest.
Canton Police Chief Dan McKimm said today that the motive of 35-year-old James Mammone III appears to be a wish to inflict emotional pain on his ex-wife.
The mother of the two slain children pleaded for police help in a 911 call on Monday. In the call, Marcia Mammone says her ex-husband is at the apartment building where she lives and that she's convinced he's set on violence.
She says she can see her children inside Mammones' car. They were found dead in the back seat later Monday with stab wounds to their necks.
Marcia Mammone's mother was found shot to death inside her home.

My heart hurts for the babies and their grandmother. I am saddened at the thought of what they all went through. I can't even imagine how a person gets to a state at which they could cut the throats of their own babies, how sad for all of us. My heart goes out to the mom and I will keep her close in my prayers.

I feel for the mother, I can't for the life of me know what she is going through.
This guy is not going to jail. He will be in an asylum for the rest of his life. He is surely insane.
As for those of you who say inmates hate baby killers, how do you know. I think any more they are held up as royalty in the prison hierarcy.
