A Johnston Court man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly forced open a back door to a home on Johnston Street and stole a flat-screen television.
Timothy A. Lewis, 20, was charged with burglary after police saw him sitting on the porch of a vacant house in the 900 block of Johnston Street and stopped to question him.
Officers said Lewis had the TV hidden under a jacket.
He was booked into the Summit County Jail.

He can get a job, work and buy a T.V. Hey Punk take the time you spend on crime and look for a job.
wow! Big news flash. The Leaking Urinal (Beacon Journal)LOL has done it again. How can anyone there afford a t.v. like that? I know it wasn't very large.
Another piece of garbage... Criminal Mischief, Damaging or EndDangering, Theft, Burglary. What does it take to get thrown in jail in this town????
but was he wearing a hoodie?
@UseCommonSense. It apparently wasnt very large if he could fit it underneath his hirts.I just did like you suggested and used a little common sense. Just guessing; but if someone living on Johnston Street(I wouldn't go into that neighborhood without body armor and riot gear) had a nice flat screen TV they probably are running some sort of "side Business" that the government does not know about.
The flat screen came from a run-down rental home, probably with a Mercedes in the driveway. It's commonplace to have a car and other material possessions worth more than your home nowadays. Kudos to the cops for noticing the fact that he was sitting at a vacant home. I"m sure this wasn't that dummy's first offense.
Clothes-captioned television...
ZippyEm - too funny!
How big was the tv?
BUBBA has the remote now
People with prior records CAN'T GET JOBS.
His life is complete. He got him a flat screen TV.
His dreams include relaxing on da porch with a stolen TV under his jacket. Chillin' like a villain
That TV was to be his next paycheck, not for pay-per-view value. Was he wearing the jacket with the TV stuffed into it, or was the jacket used to cover up the TV while it was in his lap? Why don't they list this guys address? Is his house full of stolen goods? Is he a street person? Does he have any prior convictions?
I don't understand these 4 sentence articles.
It wasn't his jacket, it was his brothers jacket.
NeoVet...
"Does he have any prior convictions?"
This only goes back until he turned 18, I'll bet he wasn't a very good boy before that.

Why was he wearing a jacket on Sat? It was 80 degree's-yeah that didn't make him stick out along with a big square stomach. Not too bright for 20 yr old. Wonder how the cops knew it was a vacant house? Thought that whole neighboorhood was vacant by now.
Naw man, I ain't got nuthin' up under my jacket,
I'm just glad to see you, brother!!
Hell yeah,G.
