Suspect arrested in Akron robbery

Police have arrested an Akron man suspected of taking part in a Saturday morning robbery.

Johnny B. Chapman Jr., 18, of East Avenue, was charged with aggravated robbery and carrying a concealed weapon in a robbery of a 48-year-old man at Aberdeen Street and Edward Avenue.

Chapman was booked into the Summit County Jail. Police recovered a shotgun they say was used in the robbery.

Two juvenile suspects are also being held in the case.

Since the boy turned 18 he's been in and out of court according to the summit county CJIS. I wonder how quickly the courts will release him this time??

the kids in this neighborhood has been petrified of these punks for the last year, about time they rounded these guys up. i know the police can't get them without proof . but the kids around here has known for awhile. just hope they set a example for the ones the didnt get.
