SWANTON, OHIO: A family dog lost during a car crash on the Ohio Turnpike has been reunited with his Minnesota owners two weeks later.
Cyndi Evans of the Minneapolis area says her three children were happy to see Thor, and the 1-year-old Australian cattle dog was happy to see them Monday evening in Swanton, 17 miles west of Toledo in northwest Ohio.
The Evans family was in a rollover accident on the Turnpike while traveling to New York on June 22. No one from the family was seriously hurt, but Thor ran off through a broken window on the vehicle.
The dog wasn't seen for several days until a volunteer from local animal shelter 4 Paws Sake spotted him far back in a woman's yard and picked him up.
The Evanses returned to Ohio to bring their missing family member home.

Nice story - glad non of the family was hurt in the accident.
glad there are good people out there
A great story for a change. Glad everyone is safe.
There are plenty of good people around. You just don't always hear about it.
