Event to honor historic initiative
The Victim Assistance Program at 150 Furnace St. in Akron will be recognized for its 40th anniversary on Friday at a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Quaker Station at 135 S. Broadway St., Akron.
Tickets are $40 for individuals. A table of eight costs $300.
