Copley senior Aregeros Turner commits to Northern Illinois
Copley senior Aregeros Turner has committed to continue his academic and football careers at Northern Illinois University, says the Chicago Tribune.
Turner, a running back, was also being recruited by Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan State, Purdue, Tennessee, Toledo, Washington and West Virginia.
Turner originally made an oral commitment to the University of Cincinnati in October, but decommitted in December after former coach Butch Jones left for Tennessee.
Turner, who is 5-11 and 170 pounds, also played defensive back at Copley. He returned to the Indians for his senior season after suffering a broken leg his junior year.
