A Princeton Street man, 38, and a Canton man, 30, of Tuscarawas Street East, were charged with discharging a firearm, possessing weapons illegally and carrying a concealed weapon. The Akron man also was charged with possessing a weapon while intoxicated and tampering with evidence. The Canton man was charged with receiving stolen property and defacing a firearm. Police heard two shots near a Lake Street home and saw two men in the backyard. Police said the Akron man threw something into a playhouse, where officers later found a gun. The Canton man had a gun in his waistband and a magazine with 11 cartridges in his pocket, police said. The gun was stolen and its serial number was scratched.
A Minson Way man, 18, was charged with burglary, aggravated robbery and felonious assault after he allegedly broke into a neighbor’s home and stole two flat-screen televisions. A Seventh Avenue man, 18, was charged with burglary after he allegedly served as a lookout. Police said the Minson Way man was identified in a photo array as the suspect who accosted two people in a car at Chittenden Street and Sixth Avenue. Police said the man pulled a gun and opened the driver’s door while another man took cash and a cell phone from a passenger. Police said the gunman fired two shots.
A Cliffside Drive woman, 23, was charged with felonious assault after she allegedly stabbed a man repeatedly at a Gale Street home.
A Beardsley Avenue woman, 38, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, discharging a firearm and aggravated menacing. Police said she fired three shots at the ground near another woman during at fight on Beardsley.
A Dayton Street man, 20, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possessing weapons illegally during a traffic stop at Copley Road and Peerless Avenue. Police said the driver made an improper turn and had a window tint that was too dark. The man told officers that he had a loaded 9-mm pistol in the glove box.
A Ogle Terrace man, 43, was charged with gross sexual imposition after witnesses reported seeing him fondle a 3-year-old child.
Three men and three woman, ages 19 to 53, were charged with possession of methamphetamine, illegal manufacturing of meth and illegal assembly and possession of drug paraphernalia at a Stanton Avenue residence.
A Winton Avenue man, 24, was charged with aggravated burglary, tampering with evidence and possessing weapons illegally. Police said he tried to force his way into an Upson Street residence at gunpoint.
An East Wilbeth Road man, 22, was charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and felonious assault after he and three others allegedly assaulted an Allendale Avenue resident and looted the home.
A Kenyon Street man, 25, and a Roslyn Avenue man, 29, were charged with carrying a concealed weapon during a traffic stop at Brittain and Hampton roads. Officers reported finding a gun on the Roslyn Avenue man and an open cup of alcohol in the car.

Police reported finding the man on Silver Lake Avenue at Seventh Street, intoxicated and drinking beer. Police said he had 10 wrapped bags of marijuana in his possession.
A Cuyahoga Falls man, 32, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs June 4 after police reported finding 56 bath-salt tablets.
A Second Street woman, 37, was charged with felony drug possession June 6.

A Green woman told police that her boyfriend, 25, hit her in the mouth and knocked her to the ground May 28 at a Sawgrass Drive location. The boyfriend, 25, of Stanford Street, Akron, was charged with felony domestic violence.
Rape
A Pennsylvania woman, 22, told police May 24 that she lost consciousness after someone gave her a drink on a party bus from an Akron bar. She said she didn’t remember anything until she awoke in a room at the Quality Inn on Chenoweth Road. She was examined at an Akron hospital.

A Massillon Road man told police May 27 that someone broke into his vehicles and stole radios, CDs, two iPods and coins, total value $860.
A State Street Northwest man reported May 27 that a gas generator valued at $1,980 was taken from a shed on South Arlington Road.

Police said a Western Union employee helped an elderly man avoid becoming a scam victim. The man tried to wire a large amount of money via Western Union at the Drug Mart in the 5800 block of Darrow Road. The employee alerted police, who said the man was being scammed.
