An East Glenwood Avenue man, 35, was charged with aggravated robbery and breaking and entering Aug. 14 after he allegedly pried open a locked door of a bar in the 1000 block of South Main Street, entered the building and took money from a register. He briefly struggled with a bar manager before fleeing. The man left behind a piece of rebar steel, a sweatshirt and some blood that was tested to identify him.
A Ravenna woman was charged with drug offenses after she was found unconscious on the bathroom floor of Jen’s Den on Brittain Road. Police reported finding a syringe next to her on the floor and several more syringes in her purse. One of the syringes tested positive for heroin.
A Cuyahoga Falls man, 25, was charged with possession of heroin and drug instruments in the 2000 block of East Market Street.
A Romig Road man, 43, was charged with domestic violence and menacing after he allegedly tried to wreck his car while driving with his wife and son. He also threatened to kill her, police said.

A Beaver Street man, 35, was charged with trafficking in drugs, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana; and a Zeller Avenue woman, 52, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they saw a drug transaction between them.
An Apple Creek man, 53, and a Lodi woman, 21, were charged with possession of heroin after police saw in the parking lot of a business in the 1300 block of Vernon Odom Boulevard.
A Barberton woman, 32, was charged with possession of heroin and drug instruments while seated in a parked car on Kenmore Boulevard. Police reported finding heroin and a syringe. A Spencer woman, 32, was charged with possession of heroin while seated in a car on Kenmore Boulevard.
An East Baird Avenue man, 36, was charged with domestic violence Jan. 12 after he allegedly threatened to burn down his house with his wife inside after she said she was going to file for divorce.
An East State Street man, 47, was charged with domestic violence after he allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face. Police said they had to subdue him with a stun gun before he was transported to a hospital.
Someone kicked in a door at a Grandview Avenue home Jan. 15 and stole $615 in belongings.

A Boltz Road man, 30, reported Jan. 19 that someone tried to use his credit card without authorization. He received a call from someone claiming the man won a $100 gift certificate. The caller said he needed the man’s credit card number to activate a rewards account.
An Aberth Drive woman, 51, told police that a contractor damaged her home. She said he pushed in a back door and left the water running, which caused damage to a toilet and walls.
A Steak ’n Shake employee told police $100 was missing from a cash drawer. She said the right amount was there when she turned it over to a third-shift manager, but when she counted it the next day, it was short.
A Needle Street man, 19, was charged with domestic violence Jan. 16 after he allegedly pushed his mother into several walls.
A Graham Road man, 36, was charged with theft and forgery Jan. 20 after he allegedly signed someone else’s name as the vehicle owner on the back of an Ohio motor vehicle title. He allegedly sold a Jeep Liberty for $2,400, then resold the same vehicle to someone else.

Two 5-foot hydraulic scaffolding units and seven end rails for bricklaying equipment, total value $2,825 and belonging to Duer Construction of Akron, were reported stolen Jan. 16 from the construction site of the new Acme store on Massillon Road.
Forty pieces of pipe with steel mounting base and five steel platforms were reported stolen Jan. 8. The material, total value unreported, belonged to Mull Iron of Rittman and was sitting at a Testa Builders job site on East Turkeyfoot Lake Road.

The woman, a cashier at Sam’s Club on Portage Street Northwest, is accused of failing to return a customer’s credit card, then using the card at Sam’s Club to buy $15 worth of fuel while on break.
A Raleigh Street Northwest man told police Jan. 11 someone stole a TV set and computer from his apartment while he was away for three months.

A Plain Township man told police Jan. 15 that his credit card was used to make $1,072 in illegal purchases at H.H. Gregg on Dressler Road Northwest.
A Daytona Street Northwest woman told police Jan. 13 that she received a phone call saying her granddaughter was in custody and needed $2,000 for court. The caller identified herself as a police officer. The woman learned later that the call was fraudulent.
More than $20,000 in equipment belonging to Stantech of Green was reported stolen Jan. 8 from a truck parked at the America’s Best Value Inn & Suites on Everhard Road.
Norton police Jan. 14 arrested a Wadsworth man, 47, on a North Canton police warrant alleging felony domestic violence.

Possession of substance
A deputy reported that he found white powder, a syringe and a spoon Jan. 9 at a home in the 1800 block of Eastern Road, Chippewa Township.
A Green Township resident reported Jan. 13 that prescription medication was stolen from a mailbox in the 7200 block of Five Points Road.
A Clinton Township resident reported Jan. 11 that someone stole a credit card from a home in the 5700 block of Wells Road and withdrew $500 from an ATM.
Percocet tablets were reported stolen Jan. 10 from a home in the 3600 block of Clear Creek Valley Road, Wayne Township.
Tools valued at $1,340 were reported stolen Jan. 9 from a trailer in the 17300 block of Jericho Road, Sugar Creek Township.
Two Smithville men, 40 and 37, and a Wooster man, 45, were arrested Jan. 15 after they allegedly stole candy, cosmetics and other items from a store in the 2200 block of Gateway Drive. The man, 40, was charged with possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The man, 37, was charged with theft, receiving stolen property and possessing drug abuse instrument. The Wooster man was charged with possession of controlled substances, theft and drug paraphernalia.
A Wooster man, 22, was charged with felonious assault, aggravated burglary, having weapons under disability, carrying a concealed weapon and aggravated menacing Jan. 11 after he allegedly forced his way into a home in the 1900 block of Fisher Drive. Police said he had a .25-caliber semiautomatic pistol and threatened a resident. No shots were fired.

Tools valued at $700 were reported stolen Dec. 10 from a storage locker in the 2700 block of Akron Road.
