A Lakewood Boulevard man, 38, was charged with drug trafficking after police arrested him at a vacant house and reported finding 18 small plastic bags of marijuana in his pants pockets.
A Bellevue Avenue man, 31 was charged with drug abuse following a traffic stop on Diagonal Road. Officers said he tried to hide ecstasy pills.

A surround-sound system, a 40-inch TV and other items, total value $1,210, were reported stolen Sept. 19 from a Chelsea Drive home.
A woman’s purse and contents, including a $1,300 white gold ring, were stolen after someone smashed the window of a car at the Golden Corral on South Arlington Road.
A Higby Drive man, 37, was charged with domestic violence Sept. 29 after he allegedly assaulted a woman inside his home.
An Apache Trail man, 41, was charged with domestic violence Sept. 28 after he allegedly struck his wife.

Impersonating an officer
A Timber Ridge Plaza employee told police Sept, 28 that a man claiming to be an officer approached her near a wooded area. The man was around 35 years old, with sandy blond hair and wore police-type clothing with “North Royalton Police” stitched on.
Police were called Sept. 30 to the Circle K on Boston Road after a motorist crashed into a utility pole then exited the vehicle and began urinating on a sidewalk. The motorist was cited for numerous violations.
Officers were called to a Beechwood Drive home Sept. 30 after someone attempted to break in.
A Ryan Road resident reported hearing gunshots Sept. 29. Officers did not locate anything suspicious.
A West Sturbridge Drive resident called police for help after a child got locked in a bedroom. Officers were able to free the child.
Police were called to a Pearl Road business Sept. 28 after a supervisor “yelled at a customer for picking another girl up by the throat.” The customers were asked to leave. A male threatened to assault the worker, but the customers left.
A River Styx Road resident called police Sept. 30 to report that someone took a bucket half-filled with change from a barn.
Misuse of credit card
A man reported Sept. 26 his credit card was used without his permission to purchase merchandise at Walmart, 222 East Smokerise Drive.

A Copley woman, 23, of Copley Road, was arrested in the 1200 block of West Maple Street on charges of burglary and petty theft Sept. 24.
A Blackfriars Drive Northwest man, 31, was charged with domestic violence Sept. 25 after he allegedly threw a woman onto a bed and tried to choke her in a hallway.
A Malvern resident, 25, was charged with felony theft and possession of criminal tools Sept. 23 after being arrested Sept. 23 at Kohl’s on Dressler Road Northwest. She allegedly used scissors to cut security cords and tried to take $1,052 in merchandise.
A Portage Street Northwest man, 33, was charged with domestic violence Sept. 11 after he allegedly slammed his girlfriend into a wall several times and threw her to the floor.
Two Cleveland women, ages 38 and 28, were charged with receiving stolen property Sept. 10 after they allegedly carried merchandise, total value $1,663, from Westfield Belden Village Mall.
A Drumcliff Drive Northwest man told police Sept. 20 that someone used his credit card to make $612 in unauthorized charges at Walmart.

A Market Avenue North man, 27, was charged with domestic violence Sept. 26 after he allegedly grabbed a woman and dragged her. He was taken to a local hospital after his arrest, complaining of chest pains.

A Valley Drive Northwest woman, 32, was being sought on a forgery warrant Sept. 26.
A 34th Street Northeast man was charged with domestic violence Sept. 26 after he allegedly punched his brother-in-law in the face.
A St. Elmo Avenue Northeast man, 58, was charged with misuse of a credit card Sept. 22 after he told officials he found it on the ground on Columbus Road Northeast and used it to buy gift cards, total value $521.
A Canton woman, 41, of Linwood Avenue Southwest, was charged with domestic violence Sept. 22 after she allegedly struck her husband and sister-in-law during an altercation at a Maxine Avenue Northeast location.
An Akron man, 36, of East Market Street, was arrested Sept. 23 on warrants stemming from a Pontius Street incident Sept. 15.
