An Anderson Avenue man, 25, was charged with felonious assault, carrying a concealed weapon, possessing weapons illegally, drug abuse and shooting into an occupied structure. Police reported finding a loaded pistol and drugs when they stopped the man at Anderson Avenue and Triplett Boulevard, where residents had called about shots being fired.
A South Jenkins Street man, 22, and Chittenden Avenue woman, 24, were charged with aggravated robbery after they allegedly plied a man with liquor at a bar, talked him into cashing a $4,500 check and then robbed him at gunpoint in a North Jenkins Boulevard home.

A Bancroft Road, woman, 83, told police Sept. 28 that she had been receiving threatening phone calls from an unknown person. The caller asked the woman to send $7,000 to $8,000 to an unknown post office box.
A Spade Road man, 38, was charged with aggravated menacing Sept. 23 after he allegedly used his car to block a Uniontown woman’s car in the Giant Eagle parking lot on Corporate Woods Parkway and threatened to pull her out.
