The peak time for viewing thousands of daffodils will soon be here at the Daffodil Trail in the Summit Metro Parks’ Furnace Run Metro Park in Richfield Township.
Park officials said the flowers will be at or near peak over the weekend through next week at the park, at 3100 Brush Road.
Parking in the lot on Brush Road is limited to 10 cars.
Park officials encourage visitors to be patient while visiting and plan visits on weekdays before 4 p.m.
The six-tenths of a mile long trail is named for the first director-secretary of the parks, Harold S. Wagner, who planted the first bulbs there in the 1930s.
An estimated 40,000 bulbs are along the trail.
