Extreme biking in snow: Cyclists ride wide-tire snow bikes in Peninsula

Jim Kelley of Euclid, sets out on the tow path trail riding a snow (also called fat) bike while attending the annual Snow Biking Clinic sponsored by Century Cycles on Saturday in Peninsula, Ohio. Fat or snow bikes are a small but growing trend the bicycle industry that have distinctive extra wide tires that allow riders to get over and through otherwise unrideable terrain such as sand, mud, wet rocks, ice and many kinds of snow.
