SUMMIT COUNTY

Annual dinner

STOW: The fifth annual St. Andrews Dinner will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 30 at the S.Y.B. Party Center, 4157 Hudson Drive.

The dinner will include entertainment from Tigh na Creige Highland Dancers, Dreama Powell on the Celtic harp and the Celtic Eagle Pipe Band.

Tickets are $25 for children 13 and older, $20 for children under 12 and $15 for seniors over 90. Reservations are to be made to Frances Acar, 234 Lowell Drive, Kent, 44240. Checks are payable to Celtic Beltane Festival.

STARK COUNTY

Town hall meeting

CANTON: Coming Together Stark County will host a Native American Heritage Month town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 28 at the Goodwill Community Campus, 408 Ninth St. S.W., Canton. This event is free and open to the public.

TIPS training

CANTON: A Tips for On Premise training class will be offered from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, 4500 Atlantic Boulevard N.E.

TIPS trains servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol how to prevent intoxication, drunk driving, and underage drinking.

The class and materials are free, but space is limited to a first-come, first-served basis. To register, call 330-430-3835.

The training is proved by Esber Beverage and sponsored by the Stark County Safe Communities, Stark Count Sheriff’s Office and the Stark County Anti-drug Coalition.
