Campaigns to hold watch parties for presidential debate

Looking for a place to watch the first presidential debate tonight?

If so, both campaigns are holding watch parties.

Gov. Mitt Romney’s campaign will have events at 175 E. Erie St., Suite 303, in Kent, and 3889 Darrow Road in Stow.

President Barack Obama’s campaign will host numerous parties in the Akron-Canton area. They are listed at www.barackobama.com/debate/find-a-debate-party.

The debate is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. and will be broadcast on C-SPAN, ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC, as well as several cable news channels, including CNN, Fox News and MSNBC.
