Students walk on the lines in the hallways as they head back to their room during the first week of classes at the Akron Preparatory School on Wednesday, in Akron. The ICan Charter school, one of the few non-profit managed charter schools in Summit County, is using one of the first renovated sections of the old Goodyear Building. Walking this way, with hands at their sides and in straight lines helps with discipline, cuts down on problems occurring in the hallways and gives the students more time to work on their lessons instead of wasting it walking the halls.
