America Today - Civility Series

Patriotic musical to honor military and safety service personnel

A patriotic musical to honor active and retired members of the armed forces and safety services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at Faith Fellowship Church, 10277 Valley View Road, Macedonia.

The annual program will feature music by the church's adult and children's choir and an indoor parade.

The Pledge of Allegiance will be recited and musical selections will include The Star-Spangled Banner, America the Beautiful and God Bless America. The colors will be presented by members of the local VFW.

A tribute to fallen military personnel will include a photo presentation of seven from Ohio who died this year.

The program is open to the public. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear uniforms.

Vacation Bible Schools

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church — 317 E. Liberty St., Medina. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Marketplace 29 A.D., a Bibletimes Experience, is the theme for Vacation Bible School. Ages 3-11. Focuses on occupations and relationships of the time, with many and varied shops in the marketplace. Snacks, songs, games and dances.
