Polls for two Copley Township precincts moved for Tuesday’s election

By
Beacon Journal staff report

Some Copley Township voters might be a bit confused when they go to the polls today.

The Summit County Board of Elections has moved the voting location for two precincts, but mistakenly did not send notices to voters informing them of the change, board Director Ron Koehler said Monday.

Voters in Copley precincts B and G, who normally vote at Copley High School, instead are assigned to the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), 3142 Ridgewood Road.

Voters in Copley precincts E and H still will cast ballots at the high school, 3807 Ridgewood Road.

Those who are unsure about their precinct can visit the board’s website, www.summitcountyboe.com/, and do a voter search, or call the board at 330-643-5200.

The board will have greeters at the Copley polling locations to help voters and will hand out maps to AHEPA.

The change will affect about 900 voters, Koehler said.
