Crash kills driver
HOMER TWP: A 38-year-old Sullivan woman died following a one-vehicle crash on U.S. 224 west of Camp Road at 12:02 p.m. Friday.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that Cynthia D. Parker was driving a 1996 Buick Skylark east on U.S. 224 when her vehicle went off the right side of the highway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Parker, who was not wearing a safety belt, was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at Lodi Community Hospital, the patrol said.

CANTON: The Stark County District Library is hosting a series of public forums seeking input about the future of local library service.
The sessions begin Thursday and run through Sept. 24 at 10 branch libraries. Administrators will be on hand to discuss library operations.

COVENTRY TWP: Trustees have called a special meeting for noon Tuesday in the Coventry Township ADA Room, 68 Portage Lakes Drive.
They will discuss issues involving the maintenance of township buildings and grounds and contract negotiations.
