Spiritual protege of Archbishop Tutu to lead local retreat

Rev. Robert V. Taylor. Taylor, a South African native, was a conscientious objector to apartheid in the 1970s and the first openly gay Episcopal dean in the United States. He is an advocate for the LGBT and HIV communities and the homeless in Seattle and serves as chairman of the New York-based Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation.
